LOR management module is designed to identify legislations and regulations based on applicable standards and geographical locations of the sites in the organization. The applicable legislations are based on applicable standards – ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001, ISO45001 etc and the legislations related to these standards are country specific and also some legislations are specific to the applicable states in the country or even local government (council etc). The system maintains a master LOR register and identifies applicable LOR for the organization. LOR Manager reviews the suggested LOR and confirms or rejects as appropriate to complete the LOR identification. The organization specific LOR may be identified in addition to the ones identified by the LOR management module. The new LOR identified may then be added to master LOR if generic or left just in the organization if organization specific.
LOR manager assigns the LOR in the final identified list to appropriate LOR user for assessment to review the compliance status. LOR not compliant are submitted for approval to LOR Manager or higher authority. Once approved an OFI triggered in the Problem Management module for details of actions planned for compliance to the LOR. LOR and OFI are cross-referenced. Once the OFI is closed the specific LOR is assessed and updated as compliant.
Master LOR is updated periodically and any changes in master LOR flow to the organization LOR for reassessment of the LOR with changes. The LOR may also be reviewed due to changes in the organization.
The benefits of LOR management include:
- Identification of applicable LOR based on applicable standards and geographical location(s) of the site(s).
- Management of the identified LOR for compliance
- Auto cross referencing to applicable OFI and auto updates as OFI progressed to closure
- Auto updates of LOR periodically based on master LOR updates
